ORANGE COUNTY GIRLS BASKETBALL TOP 25

(Records through Monday, March 2)

1. Sage Hill (27-5): Amalia Holguin averaged 26.3 points in leading the Lightning to a 3-1 record in the CIF-SS Open Division playoffs. Addison Uphoff and Kamdyn Klamberg averaged 10.8 points and 10.3 points, respectively.

2. Mater Dei (24-7): The Trinity League champion went 1-2 in the CIF-SS Open Division and fell to eventual champion Sierra Canyon 79-38 in the quarterfinals.

3. JSerra (20-8): An at-large entry for the CIF-SS Open Division playoffs, the Lions went 1-2 in the Open Division. Vivian Grenald reached 1,000 career points in a 50-43 win against Redondo in a play-in game for the regional.

5. Villa Park (23-8): Sophomore Lauren Wolfe averaged 15.3 points in the Spartans’ run to the CIF-SS Division 1 quarterfinals. They lost at eventual champion La Salle 50-45.
