The conservationist, 27, took to social media on Thursday (Feb. 26) to open up about involving her four-year-old daughter Grace in her work with the Australia Zoo.

"We recently had two turtles brought to our Australia Zoo wildlife Hospital for life-saving care and treatment. A green sea turtle and a hawksbill turtle," Irwin shared. "Thanks to the remarkable care and dedication from our Hospital team, both turtles made a full recovery."
Looking back at the photos, Irwin says it was the "perfect day" with a calm ocean and perfectly blue skies.
In the comments, Irwin's mother Terri shared her own heartfelt message, writing, "This is the best! You are the best parents, this is the best outcome for these sea turtles, and the future of wildlife conservation is in the best hands with Grace. I am so happy!"
