Christine Quinn’s experience on House of Villains wasn’t complete without some behind-the-scenes drama with her estranged husband, Christian Dumontet.
“I got served papers while I was in the house from my ex-husband. It was really, really stressful,” Quinn, 37, claimed to Us Weekly before the Thursday, February 26, premiere of Peacock’s reality show. “I was dealing with a lot in my personal life.”
According to Quinn, she was sitting in bed when she opened up her email on the set of House of Villains and realized, “I literally just got served in my email, and I had 30 days to respond.”
“He intentionally did that because he knew I was going to be in the house, and I couldn’t respond in 30 days,” she alleged. “I was going through a lot behind the scenes, but I had so much fun. I didn’t let it stop me.”

Although Quinn has said goodbye to Los Angeles and hello to a new life in Texas, she didn’t want to pass up on the opportunity to appear in House of Villains and meet a few more controversial reality stars.
“My strategy going into the show was I just really wanted to have fun,” she said. “I didn’t want to be rigid.”
In the first episodes, viewers learned that Quinn already had a past with some of the contestants, including Love Island USA star Johnny Middlebrooks.

“I met Johnny out years ago, and that was purely based on looks, right? Then I got to know him in the house, and I was like, ‘Ah, forget about it,’” she said. “This guy is not my type at all. I mean, he’s really smart, but he’s cocky, and he’s Johnny. … Unfortunately, he’s just too stuck up and cocky, so we couldn’t even work together.”
One contestant that the Selling Sunset alum found some common ground with was former Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval.
“Tom definitely gave people the ick early on. He was just a very stiff, quirky ventriloquist to us,” she joked. “However, Tom and I had a really interesting connection. We had a lot of things that we bonded with each other over — spray tans and MAC cosmetics and nail polish and Cuticle oil.”
Quinn added that the pair formed “this strange relationship” that included some “really tender, vulnerable moments.”
