The University of Northern Colorado softball team plays at home for the first time this season with two games Friday at Gloria Rodriguez Field in Greeley.
The Bears host Creighton at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. as part of the Colorado Classic DI Tournament at Gloria Rodriguez Field on 17th Avenue on the west side of the UNC campus.
UNC (6-9 overall) is scheduled to play at Colorado State on Saturday and Sunday as part of the tournament.
UNC head coach Dedeann Pendleton-Helm played at Creighton from 1991-95, and she was a longtime Colorado State assistant before she was hired to lead the Bears in June 2022.

On Saturday, UNC plays Creighton at 10:30 a.m. at CSU's Ram Field. UNC meets host Colorado State at 1 p.m.
UNC and CSU play again at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Ram Field.
Ram Field is located on the CSU campus within the intramural fields and south of Moby Arena. The field is bordered by South Shields Street to the west and Hughes Way to the south.
UNC is scheduled to play seven games from Thursday, March 5 to Sunday, March 8 at Rodriguez Field. The Bears host the University of Missouri-Kansas City, the University of South Dakota, Drake and South Dakota State for the Colorado Classic Tournament.
UNC is scheduled to play Kansas City at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. March 5; vs. South Dakota at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. March 6; vs. Drake and South Dakota State at 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively, March 7; and another game against South Dakota at 10 a.m. March 8.
The Bears begin Big Sky Conference play at home in late March. UNC will host Sacramento State for three games March 27-28 at Rodriguez Field.
