ROCHESTER, N.Y. — In the past, drivers on their way to the East side of Rochester had an on-ramp in the city to get them onto 490-East quickly. But in August 2024, the ramp was closed.

It stayed closed for months, and then a year had passed. Now, in February 2026, it’s still closed. So, what’s the deal with it? News10NBC’s Investigative Reporter Brett Davidsen filed a Freedom of Information Request (FOIL) for the ramp’s 65-page inspection report from the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT).
