Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 44 new coronavirus cases were registered in the country, 79 patients infected with the virus have recovered while 3 others have passed away. The Ministry said, in a statement that the total number of Coronavirus cases in the country reached 15045 of which 8982 cases recovered and 990 passed away. The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22nd last year for a person who came from abroad, while the first mortality was registered on the 29th of the same month.
