ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The sun was nice to see for a few hours on Tuesday, but the sun will be replaced by some snow Tuesday night. A fast moving clipper will deliver an inch or two of snow, starting by midnight, and ending by 7AM Wednesday. This will be followed by some intermittent lake effect snow showers and a brisk breeze on Wednesday. Additional snow accumulations should be less than 1″ for most areas.
Thursday may start off with some light lake snow showers, but we’ll see some sun returning by the afternoon with dry air moving back in, and a chilly to the air with temperatures falling back into the 20s. A warm front lifting through on Friday will push us back up to near 40 degrees by the afternoon, along with some more sunshine returning.
The weekend will be split: Saturday will see dry and mild weather, but a cold front is lurking for Sunday. This will bring us some snow showers early on Sunday, followed by temperatures falling back through the 20s and even into the teens.
