ONTARIO, N.Y. — Two people, including a state trooper, were brought to local hospitals after a crash on Route 104 near Knickerbocker Road in the Town of Ontario.
State Police say at around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, a van heading east on Route 104 was trying to turn left on Knickerbocker Road when they failed to yield the right of way, and hit a State Police car.
The trooper was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, and the driver of the van was taken to Rochester General Hospital, according to State Police.
There is no word yet on their current conditions, but a News10NBC photojournalist at the scene saw the trooper and driver being taken away on stretchers, and they seemed to be alert. State Police say they will give any updates when available.
