ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A few light lake flakes and a cold breeze to start Tuesday will give way to mostly cloudy and quiet weather for the afternoon and evening hours. Lake flakes will bring an inch or less of snow. Cold north wind will drop the feel like wind chill to below zero first this Tuesday morning. A fast moving clipper system will pass by the region overnight. An area of snow will arrive after 11PM and last until about 5AM on Wednesday. Plan on an inch or two of snow overnight with most of it gone well before the morning commute. Additional snow showers will fall during Wednesday with a gusty wind and temps inching up into the 30s.
Later this week a storm looks to stay just south of the Finger Lakes region. Need to monitor this system as a shift to the north may bring some snow to the region but for now looks to miss us. Milder weather arrives on Saturda as temps surge into the 40s to start the weekend. As we start the month of March a cold front will send temps back down with snow showers likely. Stay tuned to News10 for any updates on timing of snow for tonight.
