Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride had a historic season in 2025 and was listed at No. 14 on Pro Football Focus’ top 101 NFL players of the 2025 season.
McBride was the top-ranked tight end, with San Francisco 49ers’ George Kittle (No. 27) his closest competition, and the only Cardinals player to make the list.
“No tight end saw anything close to the volume that McBride did in 2025, with his 163 targets coming in 49 more than any other player at the position,” PFF wrote. “He dropped just 0.8% of the catchable passes thrown his way and ranked fifth at the position with a 1.78 yards per route run average.”
McBride had a laundry list of accomplishments last season, headlined by breaking the NFL’s single-season tight end receptions record.
The Cardinals star collected 126 receptions for 1,239 yards and 11 touchdowns last season. It was his second straight season with at least 100 catches and 1,100 receiving yards, and he had more touchdowns than he did in his first three seasons combined (six).

McBride also set the Cardinals’ new single-season receptions record and touchdowns record for a tight end.
The four-year NFL veteran made his second Pro Bowl in 2025 and his first All-Pro team.
McBride was one of 24 players from the NFC West to make PFF’s top 101 list.
The Los Angeles Rams led the way with 10 players on the list. The Seattle Seahawks had eight and the 49ers had five.
