The Night Agent season 3 ending explained
Does Adam kill Chelsea in The Night Agent season 3 ending?
In the penultimate episode of the season, President Hagan gives his old operative pal Adam (David Lyons) the order to kill Chelsea; once the latter figures out that their seemingly innocent drive is a nefarious one, she sends an SOS and her location to Peter. Following his heated call with POTUS last episode, Sutherland has basically gone rogue from his official orders (and has seemingly had his access removed from any Night Action correspondence) and is doggedly tailing Adam and Chelsea.
Both are pretty banged up, but Chelsea comes to first and manages to escape the wrecked car to a nearby barn, with gun-blazing Adam on her tail. Luckily, Peter drives up, spots the accident and follows in hot pursuit. "A real-life showdown," Adam says of Peter's arrival, as the men engage in a standoff. Peter informs Adam that his buddy Hagan and the First Lady (Jennifer Morrison) are simply using Adam, that POTUS is corrupt and has proof, but Adam questions Sutherland's credibility. With some quick gun work, though, Peter and Chelsea get away.

Does Isabel expose Hagan's corruption in The Night Agent season 3 ending?
Peter calls Isabel and informs her of the hit job against Chelsea, telling her to stay at The Register building. She lets him know that the paper won't publish the story without a meaty source, so he suggests they go to the Walcott Capital banker who approved all of those shady financial transactions. They make a plan to meet at the banker's residence.
While Chelsea helps take down Isabel's assailant and get her safely back to The Register offices, Peter goes after Freya, who is on the run through Grand Central Terminal from Adam and the other henchman. Sutherland manages to usurp her and disguises her with a hoodie, but the henchman catches up with them on the subway, where the men brutally duke it out on a deserted train platform. Peter and Freya get away, only to have a bloody encounter with Adam on their way back to the newspaper headquarters (more on that in a minute).
However, Freya gets to the office in one piece and is ushered into a live interview with Isabel where she not only cops to her own involvement in the fraud scheme but also the President's. She has proof, she says, but will only disclose everything she knows about the Hagans and their criminal conduct if the Department of Justice makes a deal with her, she says.

Does Peter die in The Night Agent season 3 ending?
Peter does suffer several painful gunshots when Adam catches up with him and Freya in that church right across from The Register building, but he is successful in convincing Adam that the POTUS and FLOTUS have been lying to him, with Freya corroborating his claims that the President laundered millions into his campaign. Sutherland reminds Adam that he's been exactly where he is right now and that he needs to listen to his gut; it's an argument that works, as Adam lets both him and Freya go.
