A rainy end to the Presidents Day weekend has forced Six Flags Magic Mountain to close its gates due to a forecast of heavy downpours and a threat of high winds in the Santa Clarita area.
Six Flags Magic Mountain will be closed on Monday, Feb. 16 due to inclement weather.
Unused Magic Mountain tickets dated for Monday can be used on any operating day through the end of 2026.

Magic Mountain was scheduled to be open Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The National Weather Service forecast for Monday calls for 1 to 2.5 inches of rain on Monday in Los Angeles County with a 100% chance of rain in Santa Clarita in the early afternoon.

The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning with gusts up to 70 mph for the I-5 Freeway corridor near Santa Clarita through 6 p.m. on Monday.
Magic Mountain is currently operating on a winter schedule with the park closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays through mid-March.
