BRIGHTON, N.Y. — According to a Substack social media post by Brighton Town Supervisor Bill Moehle, he said he isn’t seeking reelection and is suspending his campaign.
Moehle has been the town supervisor since 2012, after winning his election in November 2011.
Moehle said, “It is with that combination of pride and humility that I now make my decision to suspend my campaign for reelection as Supervisor this year. I am grateful to everyone who has supported me and the community in our work and to everyone who has given selfless service to Brighton. Brighton is a special community and I am fortunate to have called it my home for my entire adult life. Thank you to those of you who have reached out to me in recent days. Your friendship and support mean more than you know. I will serve as Supervisor for the remainder of my current term and, as always, I welcome your ideas as to how we can continue to build an even better Brighton for all of our residents.”
