On late Tuesday, Feb. 10, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI’s Evidence Response Team conducted a court-authorized search in Rio Rico, CNN reported.
Specifics about the location were not immediately available. However, Rio Rico is located roughly 60 miles south of Tucson and just north of the Mexico border. The operation was expected to last for several hours.
Late on Feb. 10, FBI Director Kash Patel also confirmed that multiple persons of interest are being investigated in relation to Nancy's case.
