February 5-7, 2026 FAST, Ocala, Florida Short Course Yards (25 yards), Prelims/Finals Day 1 Full Results

SCAD freshman Levente Mozsarik broke the NAIA National Record in the 50 yard freestyle on Thursday evening in Ocala, Florida to kick off the Sun Conference Championships.

He won the title in 19.42, which broke the old record of 19.47 set by Keiser’s Noel De Geus‘ record of 19.47 done at last year’s national championship meet to win the national title. De Geus finished 2nd in the same race on Thursday in 20.13.

Moszarik, a native of Hungary, is a 19-year-old newcomer to American collegiate swimming. NAIA swimming is becoming more-and-more dominated by international swimmers. Only 1 A-Finalist in the men’s 50 free on Thursday was an American (5th place Caedmon Peterson from SCAD in 20.91), along with only 2 B Finalists (Jake Litchfield and Jackson Voelkel, also from SCAD).

Already an established national-level performer in Hungary, Mozsarik represented Hungary at the 2024 European Junior Championships, where he finished 27th in the 50 free and 33rd in the 100 free.

His long course bests in the 50 and 100 free are 23.02 and 50.88, respectively. His time in the 50 free time in 2025 ranked him 10th among all Hungarians, and 2nd among those born 2006-or-later, while his 100 free ranked him 18th among All Hungarians.

The St. Thomas men took a lead after day 1 of the meet, followed by defending NAIA Champions Keiser University. SCAD sits 3rd.

Among the top swims from day 1 on the women’s side include a 4:57.29 in the 500 free from SCAD freshman Lena Gerl, which takes two-and-a-half seconds off the old Meet Record set last year. Her teammate Jette Haedicke set a new Meet Record in the 200 IM in 2:04.24. Gerl, Haedicke, and Mozsarik are all freshmen for SCAD.

The SCAD women also broke a Meet Record in the 200 medley relay (1:41.79), while Keiser’s women nabbed one in the 800 free relay (7:27.15). Keiser’s record lopped more than seven seconds off the old Meet Record that a different Keiser relay set in 2023. Senior Rachel Bradley was the lone holdover between the two.

On the men’s side, Keiser’s Isaiah Aleksenko won the 200 IM in 1:47.62, which knocked over a second off the old Meet Record set by SCAD’s Kevin Kell last year (1:47.51).

The SCAD men got the 800 free relay record in 6:36.28. Keiser’s relay was originally under the old record as well, but were disqualified by an early exchange from their best split by Isaiah Aleksenko (1:36.08).

Keiser won the 200 medley relay in 1:26.47, which took 1.4 seconds off the team’s own Meet Record from last year.
