Every EFL game will kick off a minute later this weekend to raise awareness for the 'Every Minute Matters' campaign.
The original target was to engage 270,000 people by May 2025 but that has been updated to 500,000 by the end of February, which is heart month, and the current total sits in excess of 450,000.
A statement on the EFL website reads: "There are more than 40,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests in the UK each year, and eight out of 10 of these will happen in the home.
"You can 'Show Your Heart' this February and learn CPR in just 15 minutes by searching BHF RevivR or visiting revivr.bhf.org.uk."
