ORLEANS COUNTY, N.Y. — On Wednesday, a teacher surrendered to deputies from the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office after an investigation involving a child, receiving multiple charges.
Reports tell us that Josefino Paz, 58, of Brockport, has been arrested and charged after a suspected incident with a child in Albion. Paz was employed by the Albion Central School District, teaching English and ESL at the middle school.
The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office and Albion School District officials coordinated an investigation into Paz, who was removed from having access to school property.
Reports say he surrendered to deputies and was charged with forcible touching, sexual abuse in the third degree, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Paz was taken to the Orleans County Jail and awaits arraignment at CAP court.
