A woman was shot and killed inside of a parking garage on the campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago.
According to UIC police, the woman was shot to death inside of a parking garage in the 1100 block of South Wood Street on Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the woman was visiting UI Health for an appointment when she was shot, and while a motive hasn’t been officially determined, it is believed the shooting may have been related to a domestic dispute.
There is no ongoing threat to the campus at this time, and UIC Police are investigating.
