PALMYRA, N.Y. — A Palmyra man has been charged with promoting and possessing a sexual performance by a child, after New York State Police executed a search warrant at his home.
William Bond, 34, was charged Jan. 31 with promoting a sexual performance by a child less than 17 and possessing a sexual performance by a child less than 16.
On Oct. 6, 2025, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a CyberTipline report regarding the upload of apparent child pornography on Sept. 23, 2024. This led to the NYSP investigation and Bond’s arrest. Electronic devices were seized at Bond’s home and examined by the NYSP Computer Crime Laboratory in Albany, where several devices were found to contain child porn, according to State Police.
Bond was transported to the Wayne County Jail for CAP arraignment.
