Tamsyn Walo and Sienna Walo of Ballina, Australia, have joined the Nevada Wolfpack women’s roster for the second half of the 2025-26 season.
The sisters each boast strong breaststroke skills; Tamsyn boasts better IM times, while Sienna specializes in sprint freestyle.

Both sisters competed at the Australian Short Course Championships in October. There, each of them notched a number of lifetime bests. Sienna brought home a win in the 100 breast in 1:07.06, as well as a runner-up finish in the 50 breast (30.85), 50 free (24.85), and 100 free (54.40). Tamsyn’s best finish came in the 50 and 200 breast, where she touched 8th in 32.21 and 2:31.25, respectively. She also finished 9th in the 100 breast at those championships in 1:10.20.
In June, both Tamsyn and Sienna raced at the Australian Swimming Trials (LCM). Siena would come away with a load of best times, notching her fastest ever 50 free (25.42), 100 free (55.29), 50 breast (31.61), and the 100 breast (1:09.87). Tamsyn also clocked her fastest ever 100 breast in 1:12.84.
Sienna’s long course 50 free best came at the Queensland Championships in December, where she led off the 200 free relay in 25.28. Tamsyn’s best IM times came in 2023, when she swam her fastest-ever 200 IM in short course at the Australian Short Course Championships in 2:20.43, and a long-course best of 2:25.71 at the Australian Championships.

The Wolfpack women are coming off a meet in which they fell on the road against the Bruins of UCLA 163-80.
The sisters each bring key depth to the breaststroke room in Reno, with Sienna holding a converted time that would be the fastest on this season’s roster, while Tamsyn’s converted 100 breast would be 3rd.
Both Sienna and Tamsyn could play a major role for this Nevada team going forward, given their high-level racing experience and combined repertoire, which bolsters the breaststroke group and adds speed in the sprint free and IM groups.
The Wolfpack will head to the Mountain West Conference Championships on February 18th.
