User Experience
Since I’ve been a user of the Arc Pulse with my previous generation of AirPods Pro, I am well-versed at the installation process of the Arc Pulse. I have to say that it’s not difficult. The case arrives in the unique Arc packaging. There is a cardboard wrapper around the outside of the box that displays the product well.
The case comes with a wet and dry wipe so that you can clean any surface dirt off the AirPods Pro (APP) charging case before you install the Arc Pulse. Arc makes the installation of the case painless. Honestly, that’s one of the endearing qualities of the product. The bottom of the case slides onto the bottom of the APP charging case and then the top half slides on to the lid of the case. Now, it’s important to note that the top part of the Arc Pulse has a small adhesive strip installed so that you can adhere the top to the lid. This is why it’s important to clean the charging case before installation. I would call the adhesive semi-permanent. You can pull the top off the lid if you need to, but it may not re-stick if you need it to.
The case finish I received was the Matte Blue, which I LOVE. It’s subtle and if you don’t look at it closely, it can appear black or dark grey. I love the Arc logo lasered onto the top of the case and the fit is perfection. The Matte Blue unit definitely gives me a sense of individuality that you don’t get with plain white or black accessories. The finish is rich without being loud, and it makes my AirPods feel less generic.
The Arc Pulse also adds a nice sense of security for the AirPods Pro. I don’t feel as though the charging case will get destroyed if it’s dropped and even though the Arc Pulse doesn’t prevent surface scratches on the face and back of the charging case, it does help with overall protection./im
