The Phoenix Suns assigned rookies Khaman Maluach and Rasheer Fleming to the G League Valley Suns ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the Delaware Blue Coats at Mullett Arena in Tempe.
It will be Maluach’s ninth appearance with the G League squad. He had a double-double on Jan. 25, his most recent time out.
The center picked 10th overall in the 2025 NBA Draft is averaging 16 points (40% on 2.5 3-point attempts per game), 12.5 rebounds and 2.8 blocks in 29.7 minutes per G League contest.
Maluach is coming off 7:42 of NBA game time over three appearances in Phoenix’s last four games. He did not attempt a shot in any of the recent appearances, scoring his only two points on free throws in the first of the three.

He has appeared in four straight games for Phoenix, including a five-point, three-rebound effort in under six minutes on Friday. Fleming also appeared in 11 contests out of a 13-game stretch from Dec. 23 through Jan. 15, averaging 8.3 minutes per game.
Fleming is averaging 17.3 points (42.9% on six 3-point attempts per game), seven rebounds and 1.9 steals in G League action.
The Valley Suns (5-11) will tip off against Delaware (7-8), the affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers, at 2 p.m. MST.
