The WeWoreWhat founder shared the news in a statement posted to her Instagram Stories on Friday, January 30, explaining why she’s stayed quiet until now. “I’ve been quiet about my personal life, and wasn’t ready to speak on it until now. We’re stepping away from our relationship with love and respect,” Bernstein, 33, wrote.
She emphasized that there was “no big dramatic reason” behind the breakup, adding that they ultimately weren’t “the right forever.” She asked for privacy, writing, “I’m not sure what the future holds, but this choice took courage. I would really appreciate privacy and grace for both of us during this time. Thank you for the support.”
