GENEVA, N.Y. — A multi-county car chase concluded with two arrests on Friday.
The pursuit began in the town of Torrey, Yates County, when sheriff’s deputies attempted to pull over a dark green Mercedes. The car fled, leading deputies and state troopers on a chase into Ontario County. The chase ended on Grove Street in Geneva.
Deputies said Alex Valcin and Briana Rejuis abandoned the car and ran off before officers found them and a stolen handgun after setting up a perimeter involving deputies, troopers and Geneva Police.
Valcin was charged with fleeing and reckless endangerment. Both Valcin and Rejuis were charged with criminal weapon possession.
