Bellevue Club Swim Team’s Meg Dahlin has committed to the Boston College women’s program for the fall of 2026
I am beyond grateful to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic careers at Boston College! I’m so thankful for my family, teammates, and coaches who have supported me endlessly. I would also like to thank Coach Bruno and Coach Dara for this amazing opportunity. I can’t wait for the next four years, GO EAGLES!!
Dahlin, the Mercer Island, Wash. native, raced in Austin at the Speedo Winter Junior Championships in December, where she swam a pair of lifetime bests as a relay leadoff. She led off the 200 medley relay, where she notched a 50 back best time of 26.92. She then set a 100 back best in 57.4,7 leading off the 400 medley relay. Individually, Dahlin raced both the 50 and 100 freestyles, placing 125th (24.17) and 117th (52.47), respectively.
As a senior at Mercer Island High School, Dahlin earned a pair of top five finishes at the WIAA Girls 3A State Championships in November. Her highest finish came in the 100 free, where she finished 3rd in a lifetime best of 51.31. She also finished 4th in the 50 free, powering to another best time of 51.31.
A week after the Speedo Winter Junior Championships, Dahlin raced at the Washington State Senior Championships, where she clocked a 200 backstroke best of 2:08.71 and a 500 free career best in 5:21.10.
She also boasts a 200 free lifetime best of 1:54.36 from November 2024.

Based on Dahlin’s best times, she would have placed 69th in the 200 free and 77th in both the 50 and 100 free.
There is still some room between Dahlin and ACC scoring position, but considering her recent slew of timedrops, it suggests she is on the right path to get into that position.
She would currently rank 6th on this season’s Boston College roster in the 50 free, 3rd in the 100 free, and 5th in the 200 free.
Dahlin joins Avery Cunneen, Carley Kaplan, Vanessa Alvarado, Kelci Walsh, Melissa Geiger, Caroline Kilty, and Grace Petrakis in Boston College’s 2026 recruiting class.
