The system is also forecast to extend toward areas between Riyadh and the northern Eastern Province, with light to moderate rainfall reaching eastern parts of Buraidah in the Qassim region.By early evening, rainfall is expected to intensify and become more widespread, with heavier rain forecast from Al-Dawadmi toward Buraidah, reaching Al-Majma’ah in the Riyadh region and extending eastward into parts of the Eastern Province. In Asir, heavier rainfall is expected to move northward from Abha toward Al-Qunfudhah.Late Wednesday evening, heavier rainfall is forecast to affect large areas of the Riyadh region and the northern Eastern Province, particularly Al-Dawadmi and Al-Majma’ah, while also extending into parts of the Makkah region.By early Thursday morning, rainfall over northern Riyadh is expected to gradually weaken and shift toward the northern Eastern Province, including Hafar Al-Batin, with scattered rainfall possibly continuing in eastern parts of Riyadh. By morning hours, rainfall is expected to have largely cleared from most regions.Later on Thursday, light rainfall is forecast to redevelop over southern regions, affecting parts of Asir and the Makkah region. By Thursday afternoon, rainfall is expected to intensify again over Abha, Jazan, and Jizan, continuing into the evening.By late Thursday evening, rainfall may accumulate east of Taif before gradually clearing across the Kingdom by the end of the day.
