A man, reportedly an off-duty Glendale firefighter, was arrested Wednesday morning, Jan. 21, after a woman was found dead inside a home in North Hollywood, authorities said.
Los Angeles police responded to the 5600 block of Satsuma Avenue about 4:25 a.m. and found the woman’s body inside, LAPD spokeswoman Officer Rosario Cervantes said.
Sources told NBC Los Angeles that the man was a Glendale firefighter and that he flagged down a police unit and told officers he got into a dispute with his wife. Cervantes could not immediately confirm those details.
The woman’s manner of death was unclear, Cervantes said. The victim was not identified publicly yet by police; that is pending official notification of her relatives.
The home sits just north of Burbank Boulevard.
