Mötley Crüe, the leather-and-spandex-clad rockers behind songs like "Dr. Feelgood," "Kickstart My Heart," and "Girls, Girls, Girls," will embark on the 33-date tour this summer. It not only celebrates the 20th anniversary of the original Carnival of Sins tours, but also coincides with Mötley Crüe’s 45th anniversary as a band.
"There's been a lot of great family time over the holidays and a lot of football, but now 2026 is front and center, it's time to dive back in," tweeted Sixx, 67, in mid-January. "There are so many exciting projects ahead this year and next. Mötley only has 33 shows this summer, leaving room for other creative ventures. I've never been good at doing just one thing at a time."
"Don't know if I'll ever tour there again," replied Sixx. "I love Japan, but after these 33 shows our contracts [are] up and we will need some real time off to decide what we do or do not wanna do in the future."

— ? (@NikkiSixx) January 12, 2026"This new show is for the Crueheads who've been with us through it all and for the new Crueheads who didn't get to experience Carnival of Sins last time around. Get ready — we're coming your way, and we can't wait to see you next summer," said the band. Crüe’s fellow rockers, Tesla and Extreme, are joining them for this tour.
The Crüe has taken some lumps in recent years. In the band's post-pandemic shows, Neil struggled to sing his classic tracks, drawing criticism from fans in the metal community. Co-founding member Mick Marsretired from touring with the band in 2022 (and later accused the band of relying on backing tracks, which Sixx called a "betrayal").
"My left leg wouldn't work, and my left arm wouldn't work," said Neil, per Billboard. "And slowly but surely, the sensation came back in my legs. And I had to learn to walk again. I went from a wheelchair to a walker to a cane to — I can walk now, but for five months it was just off and on, not knowing what's gonna happen."
