CBS Sports reported Sunday that Wangoy committed to coach Pete Golding and the Rebels, choosing Ole Miss after not playing his first two seasons with the Gators. The redshirt freshman will have three years of remaining eligibility.

Wangoy marks the 24th incoming transfer for Ole Miss against 21 outgoing transfers. He is the third offensive lineman in the 2026 transfer class, joining interior lineman Troy Everett and tackle Carius Curne.
Ole Miss completed a historic season in the semifinals of the College Football Playoff, falling to Miami 31-27 in the Fiesta Bowl. The Rebels’ 13-2 season marked the most wins in school history as well as their first Playoff berth.
