In August 1985, the Canadian rockers known for the songs “Working for the Weekend” and “Turn Me Loose” released their fourth studio album, titled Lovin’ Every Minute of It. The title track became the band’s first U.S. Top 10 hit, peaking at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The song was accompanied by a party-filled music video featuring Three’s Company star Jenilee Harrison. The actress was best known at the time for her role as Cindy Snow on the ABC sitcom from 1980 to 1982, opposite John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt, after Suzanne Somers left the series.

In January 2026, Harrison, 67, shared a throwback clip of her scene in the video to Instagram with the caption, “Once upon a time there was this band called Loverboy… and they made a video. …#loverboy #jenileefarrison #rocknroll @80s #wherearetheynow.”
“How cool! I didn't know you did this,” one fan wrote to the actress.
The Song Wasn’t Written By Loverboy
"Lovin’ Every Minute Of It” was written by legendary music producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange—but it wasn’t originally a Loverboy song.
“And [our manager] Bruce Allen said to me, he says, ‘I've got a good contact in Mutt Lange, who, you know, went on to produce everybody from AC/DC, Def Leppard, The Cars, Foreigner," Reno recalled. "I mean, he was the top guy. And not only was he producer, he was a songwriter. So, Bruce said, 'He's got a song for you.'"
“And then we sat around and listened to it for about 20 minutes. Then we all ran into our stations in the studio, and we just started banging it off,” he added. “And, you know, it turned out to be not only the title of the album but one of our biggest songs even today. And it was really the only outside song we ever did. We never recorded other people's songs until this particular song. It was just one of those times."
