HENRIETTA, N.Y. — A roller coaster of emotions unfolded at the Shamrock Inn as the Bills’ postseason run came to an end.
The game was filled with highs and lows, with fans from around the world uniting at the Shamrock Inn.
“We all came here like 10, 15 years back,” said Jophis Alias, an Indian Bills fan. “And then we started following the team. And Bills Mafia is awesome. We are like Indian Bills Mafia.”
Despite the enthusiastic cheers, the game did not end in a victory for the Bills. Cal Bawden, a dedicated Bills fan, expressed his feelings during overtime.
“I’m stressed out. I’m stressed. Oh my goodness,” said Bawden.
After the loss, Bawden reflected on the outcome of the game.
“The game being decided by flags, by the referees is really frustrating. Heartbreaking,” said Bawden. “But also the fact that it was that close for it to be decided by the referee is also on us.”
Reflecting on the future, Bawden remained hopeful.
“Next year’s always our year. It’s always next year,” he said.
After the game Saturday, Bills Quarterback Josh Allen and other players reflected on the loss.
