Lamar Odom has been arrested in Las Vegas on multiple charges.
Odom, 43, was booked on Saturday, January 17, for allegedly driving under the influence, speeding and executing an improper lane change, according to an arrest record viewed by Us Weekly.
TMZ, the first to report the news, also claimed that Odom was allegedly driving 40 miles over the speed limit and struggled to maintain his lane position prior to his arrest.
The NBA alum has been granted bail, per jail records, and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, March 17. Us Weekly has reached out to a rep for Odom for comment.

Odom has been candid about his struggles with alcoholism and addiction.
“I’m pretty sure I’m probably still dealing with [childhood trauma],” Odom previously told Us in 2019 of what led to his addiction battle. “We take a 12-year-old and take his mother away from him, I mean, those are words that are still healing — if they’re ever healed then I’m lucky. I’m just here to give testimony that it’s worth living.”
Odom started experimenting with using drugs, including cocaine, amid his short-lived marriage to Khloé Kardashian. He suffered an overdose at a legal brothel in Las Vegas in 2015 and was left comatose amid the then-couple’s separation. Kardashian, 41, withdrew her divorce petition while taking on the responsibility of Odom’s caregiver.
“I was home by myself. Bored. I wanted to get out and have a good time,” he recalled to Us in 2017. “Looking back, I might have had a drink to get the mood started, but was I drunk or on drugs? Not at all. I remember lying in bed. Two women were in bed and then I fell asleep. That’s all. When I woke up four days later, I was trying to pull the tubes out of my mouth.”
According to Odom, he was surprised to find Kardashian at his bedside when he gained consciousness.

“It was definitely a moment of relief. I didn’t even know what had just happened. I mean, I’m a big strong dude who has made it to the highest level of doing what he loves, and now I can’t walk or talk. She was the first thing I saw,” he said at the time. “She said, ‘Hi, Mookah,’ [which was] a name my mother used to call me. She said it to let me know I wasn’t dead. She played a major role in me getting my memory back. She would bring pictures of my mother and my grandmother. I kept thinking, ‘Am I paralyzed forever? Am I mute forever? It was scary s***. Faith got me through.”
Kardashian refiled for divorce after Odom’s recovery and the petition was finalized in 2016. Nearly a decade later, the now-exes reunited for the first time on a 2025 episode of The Kardashians.
“Lamar was and is definitely someone that I felt was the love of my life,” Kardashian said on a February 2025 episode. “I got married when I was 24 and although him and I got married 30 days to the day we met, I loved him with all of my heart and soul. I took my vows very seriously and I was married for about seven years. But there were bigger things that were not fixable in that marriage.”
