With readings expected to plunge into the teens, Chicago’s Office of Emergency Management and Communications issued an advisory on Friday, urging fans to bundle up.

“”Residents and visitors attending the game should dress warmly and in layers,” officials said in the advisory. “OEMC advises everyone to be aware of weather conditions and to follow instructions and heed all warnings from public safety officials. ”

Sunday’s high temperature is expected to be around 22 degrees, according to the National Weather Service, and there’s a 30% chance of snow after noon. NBC 5 Storm Team Meteorologist Kevin Jeanes said readings at the 5:30 p.m. kickoff will likely be in the upper teens and could potentially reach 20 degrees.

With wind gusts of around 25 miles per hour, temperatures will feel closer to 8 degrees throughout the game, according to NWS.

While conditions will be far from comfortable, Sunday’s matchup wont come close to the chilliest games in history.
