Hello Kitty Cafe Truck rolling into the Bay Area this month ...Middle East

It’s the little pink truck that keeps on truckin’ — to the delight of fans.

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck has embarked on its 2026 tour, with plans to roll through the Bay Area. The winsome whiskered one and her sweet snack van will make stops on Saturday, Jan. 17, in Fremont and Saturday, Jan. 24, in San Bruno. After that, the truck heads to San Diego for a Jan. 31 stop.

But all year long, devotees can immerse themselves in the Hello Kitty phenomenon at Valley Fair in San Jose / Santa Clara. The brick-and-mortar Hello Kitty Cafe opened there in July 2025, a first for the Bay Area.

For the uninitiated, fans young and old of this ultra-popular Sanrio creation find this cafe on wheels and Kitty’s offerings absolutely adorable. Besides decorated cookies and other sweets, products include Hello Kitty T-shirts, bow-shaped water bottles, plush toys and enamel pins.

And there’s new merch for the truck’s 10th anniversary, including keychains, mugs, blankets and sweatshirts. (The truck may be 10 but Kitty herself is, ahem, past 50. And did you know that she’s not really a cat?)

Here’s the schedule, with hours from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at both destinations:

Fremont: Jan. 17, Pacific Commons Shopping Center, 43340 Boscell Road (near Koja Kitchen)

San Bruno: Jan. 24, The Shops at Tanforan, 1150 El Camino Real (near Barnes & Noble and Planet Fitness)
