Nicole Richie and her husband, Joel Madden, began dating in 2006 — and became first-time parents two years later.
The fashion designer gave birth to the couple’s first child, daughter Harlow Winter Kate Richie Madden, in January 2008. They added son Sparrow James Midnight Madden to their brood in September 2009.
Nicole, who is the daughter of musician Lionel Richie, married Madden in December 2010. (Joel is one half of Good Charlotte with his twin brother, Benji Madden, who is married to Cameron Diaz.)
