2000s Band Announces Replacement for 7-Year Guitarist ...Saudi Arabia

News by : (Parade) -

Last July, it was announced that Jason Richardson, the guitarist for All That Remains since 2018, was leaving the band to pursue a solo career. He joined the rock band after the founding and lead guitarist, Oil Herbert, passed away. He helped record the band's latest album, AntiFragile, which was released last January.

"We wish [Richardson] nothing but success and happiness moving forward," All That Remains wrote in a statement published to X last summer. "We're so excited to see what he has in store for the music world and we're absolutely sure it is going to blow our collective minds."

"I’m incredibly honored to be joining All That Remains as their new guitarist," Susi wrote in the caption. "My connection to this band goes back to the late '90s, when I first met Mike, Oli and Phil at underground shows in Western Massachusetts. Those early days shaped so much of who I am, and coming back together now truly feels full circle."

Herbert, who passed away on Oct. 17, 2018, was found dead at his Stafford Springs home after drowning on antidepressants and sleeping aids. He was 44 years old when he passed, and the accident occurred shortly before the release of All That Remains ninth studio album, Victim of the New Disease.

"It means everything to get on stage with this band and contribute to a project I genuinely believe in," Susi concluded. "I can’t wait to hit the road and share what we’ve been working on with all of you."
