Illinois’ Angelo McCullom is one of such athletes, as 247Sports’ Allen Trieu reported that the Pickerington, Ohio product committed to join Texas A&M on Sunday.

McCullom tallied 19 total tackles, 2 pass breakups and 1.5 sacks this season, with that sack mark coming in a win over Purdue. His season-high of tackles was 4, which came against Washington on Oct. 25.
McCullom will likely be asked to step in and fill a sizable role for the Aggies in 2026. Elko’s defense continues to experience great turnover up front given the immense talent that resides there seemingly every year, and thus the portal appears to be the program’s strategy to address that consistent turnover.
