The Buffalo Bills will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in an AFC wildcard playoff game without one of their starting wide receivers.
Joshua Palmer (ankle) is listed as out for Sunday’s tilt and has been placed on Injured Reserve, meaning he’s out for at least four weeks, more than likely ending his season. Palmer ended his regular season with 22 catches for 302 yards and zero touchdowns.
Meanwhile, kicker Matt Prater is expected to be active as the team opted to not elevate practice squad kicker Matthew Wright. Prater missed weeks 16 and 17 with a quad injury before returning in week 18 and reaggravating the same injury.
The team also signed linebacker Baylon Spector from the practice squad to the active roster, defensive captain Terrel Bernard has already been ruled out. The Bills also elevated DE Andre Jones Jr. and RB Frank Gore Jr. from the practice squad.
Running back Ty Johnson is questionable for Sunday’s game, paving the way for Gore to make his NFL debut.
Kickoff on Sunday is set for 1 pm in Jacksonville.
