Henri Veesaar and Caleb Wilson combined for 47 points, doing just enough to overcome a combined 56 from Wake Forest’s Nate Calmese and Juke Harris. Wilson added 12 points to post his 11th double-double of the season. Jaydon Young recorded a season-high 12 points off the bench.
UNC is now 14-2 overall and 2-1 in ACC play. Up next for the Tar Heels is a west coast swing, which begins with a visit to Stanford Wednesday night at 9 p.m. Eastern time.
