Georgia signed all but a few of its 2026 commitments during the Early Signing Period. But a former Kentucky signee who played high school football just minutes from Sanford Stadium has decided to instead play for the Bulldogs.
Dallas Dickerson, a wide receiver, has pledged to Georgia. Dickerson announced the news of his commitment to Rivals’ Chad Simmons on Saturday.
Dickerson, who played at North Oconee High School, originally took official visits to Indiana, Kansas State, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, and Oklahoma before committing to Kentucky in June. Despite the firing of Mark Stoops, Dickerson ultimately signed an NLI after the hiring of Will Stein and appeared set to remain with the program.
However, Dickerson requested and was granted a release from his NLI on Monday, re-opening his recruitment. That led to Saturday’s commitment to Georgia. He won’t be able to sign with the program until the February signing period that begins on Feb. 4.
Dickerson’s pledge makes him the third wide receiver in the Bulldogs’ 2026 high school recruiting class. He joins Craig Dandridge and Ryan Mosley, who inked their respective NLIs during the Early Signing Period.
Two other players besides Dickerson remain unsigned from Kirby Smart’s recruiting class: cornerback Chace Calicut and punter Wade Register.
