Ankara, jan.10 (SANA) Turkish Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, affirmed that the March 10 agreement, signed between the Syrian government and SDF organization, is a very realistic project; however, what is unrealistic is the lack of willingness on the part of this organization undertake this path.
Speaking to Turkish channel TRT Saturday, Fidan said if the SDF organization truly thinks about the future of the Kurds, it must commit to serious and genuine solutions based on peace, and not push the Kurds toward further hostility with the peoples and states of the region.
“Time has come for the organization to move toward a path based on peace and dialogue with the Syrian government” , Fidan added.
He noted that the path that should be followed without resorting to violence is clear. There is a vision sought by the countries of the region, and a vision sought by the United States, and the two are aligned; the only one that does not align is the vision sought by Israel.
“Israel is currently trying to ensure its security through violence and wars, and by using a divide and rule tactic to keep the surrounding countries weak”, Fidan said.
