Chicago will trot out Caleb Williams, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft who just set the franchise record for most passing yards in a single season. Opposite of Williams will be Jordan Love, the Packers quarterback who took over for long-time Bears nemesis Aaron Rodgers and has posted three consecutive seasons with 3,300+ passing yards.

The Bears suffered a heart-breaking loss to the Packers the last time these two teams went up against each other in the postseason back in January 2011. Green Bay knocked Chicago quarteback Jay Cutler out of the game, went on to win the NFC Championship trophy, and would ultimately win the Super Bowl. Watching the Packers hoist the Lombardi Trophy after a charmed season from Chicago’s football team is an image that is burned into my eyeballs — and is one I’d like to not experience again.
