Damascus, Jan.9 (SANA) Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani received Friday a phone call from Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi.
During the call, the two ministers discussed recent developments in Syria. Minister Safadi reaffirmed Jordan’s firm position in supporting the Syrian government’s efforts to consolidate security, stability, and Syria’s sovereignty.
The discussion also addressed the importance of strengthening the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and emphasized continuing coordination and joint cooperation to serve mutual interests and reinforce the historical ties between the Syrian and Jordanian peoples.
