Eric Singleton linked to Florida after reversing NFL Draft decision ...Middle East

News by : (SATURDAY DOWN SOUTH) -

Former Auburn wide receiver Eric Singleton could play out his final season of college eligibility at Florida, according to a report.

That’s per a prediction from On3’s Pete Nakos, who dropped that intel shortly after Singleton reportedly entered the transfer portal on Friday afternoon. Singleton had previously announced plans to declare for the 2026 NFL Draft.

Singleton was a major acquisition for Auburn out of the transfer portal last offseason. He had a breakout season at Georgia Tech in 2024 and then joined an Auburn offense that struggled for much of the 2025 campaign.

Singleton piled up 58 catches for 534 yards and 3 touchdowns this season. Although that’s a relatively modest stat line, Singleton is regarded as a potential game-changing wide receiver at the college level.

Singleton would certainly help a Florida offense that lost several key pieces from its 2025 passing attack. If he does end up in Gainesville, he’d presumably be a top target for the Gators alongside Dallas Wilson.

It’s possible Singleton will entertain offers from other programs as he goes through the transfer portal process. There is no known time table for him to make a final decision.
