Michigan transfer quarterback Mikey Keene has committed to Arizona State, Arizona Sports’ John Gambadoro first reported on Thursday.
Gambadoro added that Keene will compete with Kentucky transfer Cutter Boley for the starting quarterback job.
Keene attended Chandler High School where he won two state championships from 2019 to 2020.
Keene’s transfer to ASU will reunite him with Sun Devil wideout Jalen Moss, who he played with at Fresno State for two seasons (2023-24).
Keene started his college career with UCF in 2021 where he played 15 games in two seasons, before redshirting during his sophomore season in 2022. Keene transferred to Fresno State prior to the 2023 season. In his first season with the Bulldogs, he faced the Sun Devils in Tempe where he threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns in a 29-0 win.
