LIVINGSTON COUNTY, N.Y. — Officials say they charged a man from Mt. Morris on Tuesday with felony robbery in the first degree after he robbed a business back on Jan. 3, 2026.

Deputies say they arrested Thomas Albanese, 44, a resident of Mt. Morris, who entered a business on Chapel Street in the Village of Mt. Morris, approached the counter, and demanded cash with a firearm.

On Tuesday, deputies arrested Albanese.

He was brought to the Livingston County Jail and arraigned.

Albanese was also charged with felony criminal use of a firearm in the first degree, felonyburglary in the second degree, felony tampering with physical evidence, menacing in the seconddegree, evading arrest by concealment of identity, among other charges.
