President Donald Trump has commuted the sentence of Dominic Pezzola, a self-described member of the “Proud Boys.” Pezzola, who was originally sentenced to 10 years in prison on charges including obstruction of an official proceeding and assaulting law enforcement, is no longer in prison.

James Mault from Brockport and Cody Mattice from Hilton were pardoned. They were caught on camera using pepper spray during the Jan. 6 riot. Mault and Mattice were initially sentenced to three years and eight months in prison.

James Weeks from Sodus was also pardoned after being convicted of assaulting police. He had been sentenced to more than two years in prison.

These actions were part of a series of pardons and commutations by President Trump.
