The Phoenix Suns have ruled sharpshooter Grayson Allen probable to return from a nine-game absence on Monday at the Houston Rockets, while backup guard Jamaree Bouyea is out.
Bouyea is in concussion protocol after playing nine minutes in Sunday’s 108-105 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Allen has been out since Dec. 18 with right knee injury management, and he has missed 17 of the last 21 games overall.
Center Mark Williams was also listed as probable for Monday, the second night of a back-to-back. The Suns kept him out of such games earlier this season with right knee injury management. This would be the second time this season Williams would play both legs of a back-to-back (Dec. 26-27).

The Suns’ injury report also listed Jordan Goodwin (jaw sprain) as available and Jalen Green (hamstring strain) as out.
Rockets injury report vs. Suns
The Rockets won’t have starting big man Alperen Sengun, who is dealing with a sprained right ankle. Center Steven Adams is questionable with a right ankle sprain after he missed the past two games.
The Rockets have been without guard Fred VanVleet all season due to a torn ACL.
Houston (21-11) enters the matchup 1.5 games ahead of the Suns (21-14) in the Western Conference standings. Phoenix has won six of its last seven games but enters the matchup 0-2 this season against Houston.
