The second installment of the Chicago Bears injury report before the team’s Week 18 game against the Detroit Lions is out. And it comes with a bit of good news for wide receiver Luther Burden III. The rookie wideout was upgraded to full participation for Thursday’s practice. Burden, who suffered a quad injury in Chicago’s Week 17 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football, was listed as a limited participant for Wednesday’s walk-through.

Elsewhere on the Bears injury report, wide receiver Rome Odunze (foot) remains a non-participant in practice. Joining him in sitting out on Thursday were defensive lineman Joe Tryon-Shoyinka (concussion) and starting right guard Jonah Jackson (illness). Jackson wasn’t on Wednesday’s injury update at all on Wednesday. Hopefully, he can get back into the swing of things in practice on Friday. If not, we’ll need to do some digging and unearth alternative starting options. Hopefully, that is not a bridge we’ll need to cross.
