ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Demingo Hinton-Diggs pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of a deadly hit-and-run that took the life of Moresee Chatman.

The incident occurred in August when Chatman, 49, was crossing West Broad Street near Orange Street. Chatman died at the scene.

Hinton-Diggs turned himself in the following month. He faces up to one to three years in prison when sentenced on Feb. 24 in Monroe County Court.

The judge may also consider shock probation.
